The exterior painting season comes to a close in Ma.

The exterior painting season is finally wrapped up and it couldn’t have ended soon enough.? The leaves aren’t the only thing falling, the temperatures are as well. ?As soon as the evenings temps start dipping into the 30’s, exterior paint starts to lose its bond.?? Even though the “big-box” stores advertise paint products that can be applied in weather with temps as low as 35 degrees, your best option is to do the right thing and wait until the spring (not to mention……..who want’s to be painting outside when its that cold). Applying paint in the cold weather significantly affects paint adhesion and leads to blistering paint in as little as one year after application.

Doing the right thing….

Our dad and granddad taught us early on don’t apply paint if the weather conditions are not right. Sometimes this means we must advise customers they need to wait until spring to ensure that the conditions are right for a lasting quality job.

Right now our exterior painting spring schedule is taking shape. (Click Here for Spring painting in Scituate, Cohasset and Norwell, Ma.

This house in Scituate, MA received a full coat of Benjamin Moore 094 primer and a full coat of Benjamin Moore Aura finish paint on all clapboards & trim. It also received a coat of Penofin (top-of-the-line clear preservative), on all natural shingles.

Normally we wouldn’t be painting outside this late in the fall, however, most forget that the month of June was a complete wash-out due to 12″ of rain and almost daily precipitation. ?But thanks to patient customers and beautiful fall weather, we got all the work done and are ready for the transition to interior painting.

Interior Painting in Time for the Holidays

Late fall is one of the busiest times of year for interior painting projects. Right now the big push is on to spruce up the inside of the home for the coming holiday season. Are you contemplating freshening up your kitchen or dining room in time for the holiday’s?

Now may be a good time to get your college student’s bedroom painted while they are away at school.?? Maybe you’re tired of that “skid mark”?on the living room ceiling from last years Christmas tree.? ?A fresh coat of paint can really change a room.?? No matter the size, we’d be happy to have a look at your interior painting project you have in mind.

From commencement to completion a full crew of painters will always be onsite. ? We are a true family business and have a Vitello family member working on every job.? ?It is our goal to gain you as a customer for life.??? As we always say “we love what we do and you will too“!

Go Red Sox!!
